90 Revolutions Testimonials

I limped into the clinic for my first appointment praying that PT would at least enable me to walk a few miles. I was sure that my running days were over. Little did I know that months later, by following the objective-driven treatment plan put in place by Steve, I would be improving my skill as a runner and achieving goals I would have thought impossible at the start of my therapy.

As an endurance athlete, I ran through the pain of a degenerating meniscus, thinking pain came with the territory of running marathons. Through Steve’s knowledge of biomechanics, I learned the importance of strength training in the prevention of injury. Though I was soon outside and running again, after my rehab, I self-paid Steve to be my personal injury prevention and performance enhancement coach.

Steve’s use of technology to provide a personal running analysis, an extensive database of exercise programs, and a variety of internet-based media has given me access to information I need to adjust to changing objectives and different training environments. The tools are a screen away and I can access them from anywhere. A huge asset because as endurance athletes, we are in it for the long-haul and life has the habit of delivering the unexpected.

I came to Steve because of his reputation for developing clear goal-oriented treatment plans that would not just treat my symptoms. Also as endurance athlete himself, Steve understands our mindset and determination. During the months following my rehab, Steve taught me to set realistic goals, and gave me the tools to change when necessary, while remaining committed and focused.

I wrote down what I wanted to achieve when I started therapy. Looking at that list today, I shortchanged myself in every facet I was undertaking. Steve’s comprehensive and balanced approach to training has influenced me to lose weight and to develop a training program that includes running, swimming, strength training, and stretching. Running is my first love and today I run faster, smarter, and pain free. My work with Steve has given me exactly what he promised: optimized performance, injury free running, and I compromised NOTHING.

I want to thank you for helping me recover both physically and mentally. Everyone at the Jackson Clinics has such a cheerful helpful mentality. However, you were the one who had to put up with me the first day I came in. I was cranky and resentful and just generally unpleasant after being neglected by our previous health insurer. I really appreciate that you still treated me kindly even when I was being a brat.

No matter how busy the clinic gets, you always listen to your patients and spend as much time with them as they need. You are very unique in the medical profession. You are just as willing to spend time listening to and helping your patients voice their frustrations and fears as you are to spend time on the physical therapy part of your job. I am very grateful to have had you as my therapist. Thank you.

Thank you for the extra time fitting me to the Kastrol and Specialized. Your process and technique are wonderful and I hope that you’ll be able to perform the full fittings again.

I look forward to watching 90 Revolutions succeed and grow.

The running analysis was an excellent service that showed me my weaknesses and explained why I was experiencing knee pain. Dr. Berkey showed me how to minimize the movement of my hips to decrease the stress at my knee. Now I can run long distances without the pain. An excellent service for the price. In the medical field it is unlikely to have this one-on-one assistance. Thank you.

For years I had been running with pain. I felt pain at the right side of my lower back, next the inside of my knee and finally at the outside of my lower leg. I had no idea that my foot type and running technique caused all of this pain. The running analysis explained why I was experiencing this pain. In addition, I received video exercises and instructions on how to eliminate the pain. The running analysis and resources were practical and helped my return to the sport I love. Now I can train for the upcoming marathon with greater ease.

I have always enjoyed running. It was a perfect stress relief and a way to get away from it all. After two knee surgeries, I feared returning to running. What if I had to get another surgery because of the running? The running analysis gave me some insight on how I can run safer and longer without hurting myself. Now I can train for the next 10K without the pain and fear.

I have competed in triathlons for years. The running leg was my worse part of the events. I always would experience knee pain. At first I accepted the pain and thought I had to just work through it. Eventually, it got worse, and my speed got worse. After working with a local running coach and incorporating the running analysis and videos, I realized that I was running incorrectly and creating the problems. Who knew that running was such a science?
